    Hi Everyone,

Here is the previous post that I am working off of....

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sepm-110401426

I have installed the new version of SEPM, and ran the auto upgrade on the clients, however, they are not updating virus definitions.  When looking under the troubleshooting option on the workstation, the server is showing as offline, and it is not even populating the server field with the correct name.

Further to this, the clients are not showing up in the console, however, I figure the two go hand in hand.

On the local workstation, under troubleshooting, the server is showing as offline.  I have copied over the XML file from the SPEM folder on the server, and this does populate some information in the troubleshooting section, however, the server is still offline.

Not sure what direction to take next, but some advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Here is a good KB to start with.

Symantec Endpoint Protection: Troubleshooting Client/Server Connectivity -

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH105894&locale=en_US

Moving this thread to the correct forum (Endpoint Protection).
