Hi,

I tried to ugprade in place SEPM from 12.1.3 to 12.1.4 MP1. Operating system is under Windows Server 2012. After upgrade i couldnot connect to SEPM console. In Windows Services Console, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service was stopping when i was trying to connect to SEPM console.

Any ideas?

Can you post scm-server-0.log ? Have you try repair SEPM for Add/Remove programe ?

No i did not try to repair SEPM from Add/Remove program.

because of failure i did reverting the snapshot.

thats why i cant send you a log file.

Without log file we can't find any root cause,

when you will be again try to upgrade SEPM?

If you will be received same error again please post the logs.

understand James is ther some best practice ugprade guide, manual or something like this?

Hi,

If faced similar issue again, post the scm-server-0.log and catalina.out file.

Both the files will be present under C:\Program Files (x86)/SEPM installed driver\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs

5 minutes ago finished upgrade process..

from the first sight it seems that everything is ok..

this is server side and about client side what is the best practice to upgrade them simultaneously to latest version?
