  • 1.  User gets prompted with LicenseManRes.dll could not be found. in Terminal Server session ?

    Posted Mar 02, 2015 11:48 PM

    Hi,

I'm running SEP 12.1 client in my Terminal Server 2008 R2 (RDSH) server VM, and intermittently users getting the following popo up:

    ---------------------------
    Error
    ---------------------------
    LicenseManRes.dll could not be found.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

So whay could be the cause and why is that happening on SEP client ?

So should I update to the latest SEP client 12.1.5 to fix this issue ?

or is this because I have cloned the Terminal Server VM multiple times from the base image which already contains SEP client ?

    Hello,

I would suggest you to upgrade the present version of SEP 12.1 to the Latest version of SEP 12.1. RU5.

When you install the latest version of SEP 12.1 RU5 over the older version, it would replace all the older files with latest files.

    Regards,
