I have altiris 6.1 running on a machine that is using xp sp3, and when I go to download the image to another machine, the transfer rate is extremely slow. I even used static ip address, thinking maybe the network was the cause, but the problem continues. I have defragged the workstation that the image was created with and I have defragged the laptop that the image is stored on. and I continue to have this problem. the image isnt very big, about 2 1/2 gig. Does anybody have any suggestions? I appreciate your help. thanks
