I am having problems pairing with iOS 11.3 and macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.4. I previously had this working. But was running out of disk space and decided to do a Fresh Install. I redownloaded the VIP Proximity desktop. Tested my key and it said it was working. But got the 'Pairing Failed" screen shown in Kevin Westbury's post. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both my mac and iPhone 8+ with iOS 11.3
The token was now different and i tested it on the VIP webpage and it said it was ok. When I go to pair it again, I again get the 'Pairing Failed' dialogue. What I don't understand is that it was previously working on my old install, and now after reimaging my macbook pro, it now fails to pair. I keep my machine patched and up to date. Anyone have any idea why it is now unable to pair? The patch levels would be identical and same versions of the apps.
I love this product when it's working. It works solid for proximity unlocking. But something invariably changes and is unable to pair again.
Please help!
VIP desktop for mac version 2.0.2.6
VIP access for iOS Version 4.2.3
Best regards.
