  • 1.  Virtual Memory Error

    Hi
     
    Recently updated Symantic Anit-Virus Corp Edition 8.0 to 10.2 on Windows 2000 (i know) .
    Low virtual memory error appears on systems now.  Changed settings to increase, errors continues.
    Thought I had a fix when I ran acrosss a windows update patch KB840987.  Didn't resolve problem.
     
    Any ideas ?  I have looked through alot of documentation, but no solution as of yet.

    Make sure you pagefile is at least 1.5 times your physical memory.

    I was able to get rid of error by changing page file settings as suggeted.
    This thread can be closed.
