We will use SEP 14. Just want to confirm that SEP Manager cannot be used to get MAC clients to receive new virus definitions. A LUA must be set up in our network to do so.

Can I use an internet LUA on Symantec side?

If you configure the SEPM as a reverse proxy it can provide content to Mac clients. See this KB article:

I just configured several of my SEPMs for Reverse Proxy. It's a bit tricky to setup but now seems to be working fine.

Thanks both. I have multiple physical sites. Only one SEP Manager is installed on the main site. So, Mac devices in other sites would not be able to get updates. What is your experience of allowing Mac devices to get updates from Symantec LiveUpdate servers? We do not have a huge number of Apple devices. Not sure whether it can cause network slow down.

Another question is some article says that LiveUpdate cannot update policies to Mac devices. How do Mac devices to receive policies in the first place? Or I got wrong information.
