    Hi all,

I hava a problem with symantec. I have a company pc that has symantec on it and while I am in copmany network I canno disable it (but normally that is not problem). Now I am on bussiness trip and I need to conect with this laptop to internet and normally everything works ok on every ISP but for the first time I have ISP that uses VPN. So I spent whole day until I figure it out that symantec is the problem. I cannot connect to ISP until I do not disable symantec. And everything would be ok, but for business reasons I have to connect to my company via tunneling and the moment I log on, my company security policy enables symantec and my connection is lost.
Is there a help for that problem? I have vista OS.

Sry I dont have time to read all mails cos I am in a little bit of a hurry,..

ps. Sry, english is not my native language

    best regards
    Dunlop

    Hi,

In case you are using the Pro active Threat Protection & the Network Threat Protection feature then try uninstalling it by going to add/remove program and then modify endpoint to have only the Antivirus & AntiSpyware.

In case the above mentioned stepss resolve your isssue then enable the Pro active Threat Protection and check whether its working fine. The reason why we are doing this step is to narrow down the feature( in case its endpoint) that is causing the issue.

that option is risky, because I must have symantec to connect to my company and it is not good to mess around with it. If I connect to company
