  • 1.  Web Gateway Authentication Problem

    Dear all,

    i am having an authentication problem when i try to add my active directory server to the LDAP Authentication in Symantec Messaging Gateway.

    The error Message that appears when i try to test the connection :  

    An LDAP error was encountered: The LDAP Server IP/Hostname or Port you have entered is incorrect, please enter the correct settings and try again.

    can anyone help me in that problem

    Are you using Simple or Kerberos?

    What happens when you use Simple?

    So, it sounds like the error is correct. What leads you to think that it is not?

    it is working now. i upgraded to version 5.2.1
