I have a straitforward question,is Kerberos authentication supported only when using DCINTERFACE?

if the question is regarding the Authentication Method drop-down box available under Administration -> Configuration -> Authentication, Kerberos will work with either DCInterface or NTLM.

Check "Configuring Active Directory Integration" on the SWG Implementation Guide for more details.

The Authentication settings in the SWG located in Administration -> Configuration -> Authentication is for the SWG to poll your Active Directory for user/group information and has no direct bearing on DCInterface or NTLM operation so as fferaboli said above it will work with either. If you are using DCInterface or NTLM you will need the Authentication test to work in either Kerbose mode or Simple mode.
