  • 1.  Web gateway to secure Internet access as proxy

    Hi,

    I got Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition 4.0 - International English in my FIleconnect so I wonder if this product can actually serving as the intenret security proxy filtering for my company,

    also

    SWG was not designed to act as a reverse proxy.

    When SWG is used in proxy mode, no other proxies should be involved downstream or upstream. Proxy chaining is not supported with SWG.

    many thanks Pete,

    at the moment I'm just using bluecoat proxy | BlueCoat.com as the HTTP proxy port 8080

    I guess I must decommision that proxy ?
