    Dear All,

I have configured SYM Webgateway and created policies on it. It work fine for Internal users. However I want enforce my Laptop users to be protected and Web gateway Policies should be applied to them when are away from the corporate network.

Kinldy if there is some offline agent for SYM WG which can go on laptop with the policy information.

    Hello,

There's no offline agent like you mentioned, however if you can give a public ip and change your Web Gateway design to act as a Proxy, your external users will be protected when they're using your proxy outside.

The webgateway is deisnged to operate on your network not protect or monitor machines, workstations that are out side of your network. If the laptop users connect in via VPN you may then be able to use the Symantec Web Gateway to monitor their traffic. However there is no way to monitor or protect their surfing if they are not connected to or on your network or vpn.
