  • 1.  What are the acceptable collations for MS-SQL to work with SEP?

    Hi,
We are experiencing issues with the installation of SEP on an SQL Server, and the SEPM would not install because of a collation issue.
I would like to know what are the acceptable collations to be used with SEPM.
    Thanks is advance.

In the Collation Settings window verify SQL Collations (used for compatibility... is selected.
    • Use the default selection of Dictionary order, case-insensitive, for use with 1252 Character Set'
    • uncheck Accent Sensitivity.

    You  helped me a lot,
because of the migration Symantec are doing to their knowledge base it was down for a while.

    Kind Regards,
