    on what folder is the local backup of Encryption Management Server located? If my Encryption Management Server was set to backup locally, can I copy the backup offsite thru winscp?

    Hi Rinoa21,

     

    You will find the local backups in:

    /var/lib/ovid/backups

    You can copy them with WinSCP or similar, and likely if you configure the server to deliver the backup remotely it should no longer check the local directory. Nonetheless, it won't hurt if you keep the old backups there and later check if they are removed or not (I don't expect them to be deleted). If nothing changes, then you can delete them.
