  • 1.  what happen to data from a SEP client on the database when the client sw is uninstalled?

    Hello all, 

    I am wondering what happen with the data in the database when a client is uninstalled. Is the data deleted straight away, or it is kept until the purge settings configured take effect?

    The data uploaded to the SEPM will stay on the SEPM as per your local log settings on the SEPM. So if you have the database to purge after 60 days the entries won't vanish until then.

    How long do you retain logs? Whatever that time period is, they will remain for that long, regardless of client being uninstalled/removed/deleted
