Our requirement is below to install SEP 

• Windows 7 Client
• SuSe Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Client 
• Central Management Server  Windows 2008 r2 

 pLEASE HELP Me which software i have to download from following lists from 

Download Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe this is a self extracting file once downloaded. Includes SEPM, Packages and everything needed for installation of you SEP requirements once extracted.

Part2_Tools has all the tools required to troubleshoot issues if needed.

Is this enough to install?

What about Win 7 and Suse Linux Client? do it contains all clients files also to download?

AJ_01 Says SEPM to download separately? but Geo Geo says just to download one file as mentioned above

so confused!!

For Window 7 client installation you can download the

Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Win32-bit_client.exe

Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Win64-bit_client.exe

SuSe Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Client

Package Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.2_MP1b_linux_client.exe

Central Management Server  Windows 2008 r2 

Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.ex

SEPM is enough for Win -7 and Central Management Server  Windows 2008 r2.

For linux you also require to download it.

I have mention seprately according to your mention.

SEPM is a server package which can have the control to install the Window clients. But SEP linux is seperate and require the seperate package for installation.

Note - You can able to manage the sep window client but not be linux client.

The only additional part you'll need to download is the linux_client_EN as at the moment linux clients aren't managed by the SEPM until the release of RU5 (October release atm) everything else for windows and mac installion will be septup within the SEPM once installed. 

SAVFL will be installed on your linux devices seperatly they will report into the SEPM but can't be centrally managed till RU5

As per your requirement you need to download 12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation_EN.exe .

Steps..

1) You need to Install SEPM console with the help of Installation package .12.1.4_MP1b_Part1_Installation.

2) After succesfully create SEPM console you need to create SEP client package for Installing Windows OS system.

If you not be install the downloaded version as above mention then go with latest one.

September 19' 2014 New SEPM 12.1 RU5 version is released

It avaialble in file connect as i have statrted download
