Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

I know i cannot install SMP 7.1 on 2008 R2 SP1, is not supported.

I read the latest version of Platform Support Matrix 6.x/7.x. (Modified : March 15,2011)

No mention about Windows 2008 R2 SP1 is supported or not.

In need to know if Agents, Package services, Patch Management, Inventory, task is supported for two versions 6 SP3 +R13 and 7.1.

When this will be supported?

ITMS 7.1 SP1 will support Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.  By "support", I mean that you can actually install the solutions (Inventory, Patch, etc.) on it.  The 6.x versions do not, and will not, support Server 2008 R2 (any Service Pack level).  

As far as site and package services are concerned, my thoughts are that they will support Server 2008 R2 SP1 in ITMS 7.1 SP1 as well.  As for 6.x, I am not sure.

I can vouch for this in a real world way- our NS 7.1 box in preproduction is ITMS 7.1 SP1 on Server 2008 R2 SP1.
