Where is data for Symantec Content Distribution Manager collected from?

    Hi All,

     

    We have 3 SEP 12.1.6 servers in NA EMEA and APAC regions. We have SCDM installed on all three regions. But we dont understand why the SCDM console in APAC not able to provide us with accurate status information about servers in EMEA region. 

    We have around 38 GUPs in EMEA region. But the SCDM console shows the GUP status properly only for about 33 EMEA GUPs. 

    For around 5 GUPS which are in the EMEA region are not showing the correct status in the APAC SCDM console.

    But if we check the status of those same GUPS in the EMEA console then it shows the right status. 

    So what we are trying to figure out is why this is happening?

    Where does the SCDM console look for to check the status of the GUPs?

    If we can get this information we should be able to troubleshoot and check why the status is not being collected as expected.

    Are the SEPMs connected to each other or separate? How are they setup?
