which data transfert mode is best/appropriate for a image deploy task, for 15 to 30 computers at the same time.

- the default one, mouted shared image folder (the actualy I have tested with only one computer)

- Ghostcast session

- P2P Multicast

I actualy can only make my migration tests with only one computer, so sorry if my question seem obvious, I just want to be prepared for the day.

Transmitting an image over a TCP/IP peer-to-peer connection is similar to using Ghost.exe with GhostCast Server or Ghost Multicast Server because both processes use a TCP/IP connection. The difference is that the peer-to-peer connection uses a Master/Slave relationship, and the server uses a one-to-many relationship.

Most customers will use a GhostCast->Multicast session to transfer an image to multiple computers.

When multicasting, you need to ensure that IGMP snooping is enabled on your network switches.
