    Is there any process to request a status update for white-listing requests? It has now been over a week, and it usually only takes 2-3 days.

    4122898

    Not really. You can contact support and ask them for an update. Additionally, Symantec employees do check in here on the forum so they may be able to help out if they see this thread.

    u can open a new case with Symantec support and can ask them to expedite the process.

    Hi Robert,

     

    Many thanks for the post.  Those are both received and in the works.  Proactive Whitelisting can take a week or so to process. 

    If this software is already out there in the real world, you may wish to submit the files to the False Positive portal.  Otherwise, give it another day or two and I expect they should be done.

    Thanks for the rapid reply. I'll keep an eye out for email notifications over the next couple of days.
