    I have a All-in-One Altiris Notification Server 7.1 (Virtual Machine) for PC inventory & software deployment with MSSQL database 2008 R2.

    Why new PC with agent install would not include "Alitiris Base Task Handler"? Thanks

    Where to config it to install? Thanks.

    Hi,

    "Altiris Base Task Handler" is a part of SMA install and if it is missing then it might indicate installation issue.

    Is it possible to share logs from problematic client?

    C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Agent\InstallLogs

    C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Agent\Logs

    Please zip log directories and share it by some service (like dropbox, for example). Our you may try send zip to alxbizjajev@gmail.com - it also might work.

    BWT: what OS you have on the clients side and is this upgrade or clean install?
