  • 1.  will fix for 12-31-09 be new mr or handled via live update defs?

    Hi.

    I have scheduled a couple of installs to upgrade 10.x to sep.  but with the 12-31-09 issue, I'm wondering if this is wise.

    if sym is going to release a whole new mr then i'll wait.  if this can be fixed with lu then i'll proceed.  does anyone know?

     I thought, with RU5, it'll happen automatically with a LU fix.

    But for older builds, there will be an actual patch respective to each build, MR4, MR3, etc...

    Oh well, it'll get fixed soon enough.

    from what i understand is : all SEPM builds will get auto fix through LU, without forcing upgrade to MR5 or doing patch manually.

    I don't think  we will have a new MR or RU instead it may be updated via Liveupdate

    There will not be a new RU or MR.
    RU 6 will not release for another three months or so.
