    Hello.

Does anyone know when a version of SEMS or PGP WDE will be released that supports Windows 10, 1709? 1709 is currently unsupported and is blue-screening laptops that have 1709 and PGP.

I'll second that. Can we get an update please?  It's been months now that 1709 has been released and we're all on standby while Desktop Encryption holds us back from updating.  Thanks.

So 1803 is out.  How long will we have to wait?

I had a similar problem with Win 10 1709 and recently contacted Symantec Support asking about Win 10 1803 support for Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 for Windows.

Support staff directed me to look at and subscribe to the following support article:
    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH248332.html

Upon receiving notice that the article has been updated stating that 1803 is supported, I have successfully installed Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 for Windows on a machine running Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Version 1803 (Build 17134.48).  The current build of Encryption Desktop is 10.4.2 Build 206.

    Hi JeffW02

I have previously used ED 10.3 and want to upgrade to 10.4.2 (I have a new Win 10 laptop) but can't seem to find it anywhere for sale.

I have located a product called Symantec Drive Encryption (powered by PGP Technology but can't seem to find out whether it supports all of the features of previous versions of Encryption Dektop.

Can you shed some light on this for me?

    Thanks

If you are referring to the product described here: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/drive-encryption.html, this page has support information where the download link on the page refers to instructions that are intended for those who already have a valid license for the product. I got the encryption desktop product several years ago and have a support contact with Symantec.

It's best to contact Symantec support to ask where the product you are looking for can be purchased and if it supports the features of previous versions of Encryption Dektop
