Hello all,

My customer distribute update with SCCM. Computers do not get update when sep installed. There is not any old symantec folders in any disks.

I even deleted the files that need to be deleted below. 

 C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log & C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml

Could you recommend something else?

We are pushing updates without any issues to win 10.

Your updates are not visble on win7 ? SCCM scan not happening? or Deployment is failing?

Whats the exact issue you are facing with the updates.?

actually we dont have any windows 7 client. 

deployment is not failing because i can see. then i click install button. waiting for a long time and then failing.

The SCCM agent shows updates downloading and then fails?

please post the screen shot and also the updatesdeployment.log of SCCM?

i am waiting for log.. I will share as soon as it comes.

This may not be related to SEPM, once you get the log, open it in CMtrace.exe 

look for the failure event, get the error code, put that in the log viewer to get more info

to isolate the issue, 

Remove SEP from the machine, restart, run the patch activity , check if you are able to install
