    Hi Everyone,

We are using SEE 11 and one of our users has some Windows curruption on her hard drive. We are trying to recover her data, but we have ran intoa road block. We are booting to a WinPE boot disk, and we are trying to running the following command:

eedAdminCli -- status --au username --ap password

However, I'm wondering what the username would be for this command. A local admin? The user we configured SEE with?

    Thanks,

    Mike

You could try either, but I would assume it would be the  user that SEE was configured with.

The --au and --ap switches refer to the client administrator account credentials, created during the first steps of the SEE Client creation wizard.

To clarify, this has nothing to do with any Windows account, either local or domain.  This is the SEE Client Admin account that exists within the SEE client only.

Thanks for the responses. I have no idea what that might be, been a while. I guess we will have to punt on this one. We have moved to BitLocker and this system was left over from the Symantec days. There was some data the user needed off the system. Thanks again.
