Deployment Solution

Hi All,

Gathering info on deploying patches (currently XP) using DS 6.9 . I have it working by setting up a job with a few tasks that apply the patches . My question would be , has anyone found a better way (using Altiris) ?  I had to split the tasks because the reboot kept them from working.

Go full-blown CMS and use Patch Management Solution.  That's the real tool for staging patches.

I currently use DS for patch management.  I like the fact of knowing right then and there that the patches have been applied.  We have CM and Patch management, but it was not really working for us due to our environment.
