    Hi

    We have SEP 12.1.4.MP1a, when we installed SEP client on users PC or on servers it disable Win firewall. We want to keep Win firewall enable how we can do. Our SEP client package has all three components virus & spyware, proactive thread and network threat. We want to keep enable Win firewall how we can do.

    Withdraw the firewall policy from that group(s) within SEPM.

    Yea, NTP is two components, IPS and firewall. Withdraw the firewall policy to allow for control of the Windows firewall but keep the IPS policy applied so you can still utilise it. Problem solved :)

    You should use any 1 firewall, either windows or Symantec, You can set it to disable only once, next time when you reboot the box u will see Windows firewall enabled.
