Workflow Soluiton

So Workflow 8.0 was released the other day as part of ITMS 8.0

There are a few changes such as FIPS compliance, Process Manager enhancements, updates to charting libraries and a few removals but it doesn't look like a big feature release.  I had been hoping for improvements such as RESTful API support but perhaps that will be in the next .1 release ;->.

Has anyone tried it yet?  I'm just downloading it as part of ITMS 8.0 but these things take time.

I've written a number of posts about the REST Generator introduced in 7.6 http://www.symantec.com/connect/articles/using-rest-generator-workflow-76 Were you hoping for additions to the current functionality? If so, what? Might be worth raising them as an Idea

Your posts on the REST generator are great thanks Alex but thats for interacting with external REST and RESTful APIs.  I was hoping Workflow itself would be able to offer REST and RESTful based web interfaces as well as the existing SOAP.  I suspect thats a massive task so I doubt we'll see it any time soon.

Ah I see, yeah I'd post an idea and if others like it it's more likely to be implemented.
