    Hi,

I have installed with PGP SED 10.3.2 MP10. I have read through the release note saying that added compatibility on Window 10 but some how the backward compatibility seem have removed. I hit an error after install the PGP SED on a Window XP SP3 full patch machine.

    Hi,

We still do support Windows XP in Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.2 releases (see "symcEncDesktopWin_1032_readme_en.pdf" page 3 from https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.DOC7053.html).

This issue I would rather say it is OS problem. Can you fix the .dll issue and retry installation? Also, can you confirm you are able to install it on another Windows XP?

Please bare in mind that Windows XP is out of support from Microsoft and since almost a year there are no more security patches published for this OS. I would strongly recommend to upgrade the OS (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/end-of-xp-support)

    Hi,

It is fresh OS, not really is OS issues.

But here i am share my experience.

After replace the uiautomationcore.dll and there will be another msvcrt.dll issues. this file is unable to replace with new version it will cause win xp goes endless loop and blue screen.

    Here the solution i found.

This problem just missing the C++ redistribution. I have install C++ redistribution 2005, 2008 SP1, 2010 and dot net framework 2.0 and 3.0 SP1 and now it works. As the doc you given not even mention the system requirement specificly. As per window 7 already pre build with some of the C++ redistribution.
