We are currently experiencing an issue with the Endpoint client, and to troubleshoot, we would like to exclude the C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\UsrClass.dat file from scanning.

The only way to exclude a file from scanning, is to add it with a full path to centralized exception. Since each username has a different path to the Local Settings directory, we cannot do this for 1,000 employees.

Centralized Exceptions currently has prefix variables for All Users directory, but there needs to be an option to exclude each user's profile directory as well.

This has already been discussed. Search on here for that variable. Product manager's have even commented. I believe that it is being looked into.

This one is already at +45... I'm sure it could use a few more.

Upvoted, thanks! Too bad it's been few months and still no official update from Symantec. How does something like this get overlooked?

It wasnt overlooked. Due to design it was not possible to implement at the time when the initial variables were added. I realize because of the lack of support it is causing a big pain. I do expect to add it in the future. Keep voting on the other thread.
