I find that the HP SoftPaq distrubution wizard is a bit clunky and, to be blunt, no use for real world applications.

Being able to only deploy one SoftPaq at a time is a ridiculously tedious process.

The process is also not very intuitive - I was completely confused when I tried to deploy a SoftPaq that had no applicable machines and got a blank list.

The documentation suggests that if a client receives a SoftPaq which isn't relevant to it, it will just ignore it - similar to Patch Management.

What I would propose is the ability to create a task that deploys multiple SoftPaqs to any machine (in my case, all softpaqs to all machines) and allow the client to decide wether or not to install it.

It can then be integrated in to a DS job - Deploy Image, Reboot to Production, Deploy all the relevant SoftPaqs - one fully imaged machine with all the HP certified drivers installed.
