We would really like to see AD integration so our administrators can use their AD credentials to logon to the PGP Universal Server.

Rumor has it that this will be a feature in the November release of the product.  Always subject to change, so believe it when you see it. :)

A low budget way to accomplish this today would be to utilize Symantec Protection Center as the front end for PGP.  SPC allows AD integration so that admins can use their domain credentials to get into the Universal Server.  It's a bit clunky but gets the job done.  The caveat is they MUST use IE for the hand off to Universal Server to work correctly.  I was planning on doing this until I heard that it's supposed to be included in an upcoming release.

Adding SPC in front of UN does not give you more security, while you can still logon with static user/pass on the UN webinterface. I have several customers asking for an integraited AD authentication for Admin accounts on Universal Server. Also a custom configurable role concept. Most of Admins want to compile thier own permissions on the Server some based on coperate security polices.
