I would like to propose the idea to include further granularity over the Symantec Endpoint Protection client retrying a missed scheduled scan.

Currently, if the client's PC is turned off, when the user logs in then the scan immediately starts.  This makes the computer run very slow for the user until the scan is complete despite the scan performance being set to maximize PC application performance.

It would be nice to allow the user to select the time to scan or to delay the scan by a certain amount of time.

It would also be nice if the administrator could configure the retrying of missed scans to retry on a schedule like retry in 24 hours or at a specified time.  This would alow for the retry to be executed during off-hours as well.
