Adding VISTA driver (NIC) to Windows PE in Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.1

Aug 27, 2010 12:41 PM

This silent video demonstrates how you can add a network driver  to the Windows PE boot package. The similar method could be followed to add the mass storage drivers if necessary to the Windows PE boot package. It is also a requirement that we add the VISTA driver to the Windows PE boot package. The links that are mentioned below give us a clear insight as to why we need VISTA drivers for WinPE boot package even though we are trying to ghost other operating systems. The second link would give a detailed overview of how we add drivers to the WinPE boot package.

I would also like to dedicate this video to all the novice users of Ghost who find adding drivers a difficult task. Hope that this would help them and also all the Ghost users out there to over the issue of adding drivers to their Windows PE boot package.

Many Thanks,
Venkatanathan Swaminathan

Nothing is better as to visualize thing. I like your video.

Only one update about the link to the knowledge base where the process is mentioned too. The new link is:
