It has been reported that Sun Management Center (SunMC) Change Manager is vulnerable to a remote boundary condition error. Because of this, it may be possible for an attacker to gain administrative access to a system remotely.

Block external access at the network boundary, unless external parties require service.
Restrict untrusted and unauthorized network traffic to services started by the Sun Management Center.
Disable any unneccessary default services.
Services started by the system that are not implicitly required should be disabled to prevent exposure to potential attacks.
