Description

Additional Information

Sony Network Camera SNC-P5 ActiveX control allows users to manage Sony security cameras from a PC.

Sony Network Camera SNC-P5 ActiveX control is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it into an insufficiently sized buffer.

This issue occurs when an excessive amount of data is passed to the 'PrmSetNetworkParam' method of the 'SonySncP5View.OCX' library.

This issue resides in the ActiveX control with CLSID:{5CB430A9-CAAC-4C91-AF61-6D410EEE1221}.

This issue affects Sony Network Camera ActiveX SNC-P5 v1.0; other versions may also be affected.
