The NetBackup for Oracle and NetBackup for DB2 database agents provide wizards that are used to create backup and recovery templates. These wizards are initiated from the NetBackup Backup, Archive, and Restore interface. The templates created by the wizards do not support all of the database commands and options provided by the native database utilities. A shell script should be written for situations in which a template does not provide all of the required functionality.
