Jan1st20.exe Virus Hoax

The following message has been sent out by email. It is a hoax. Attached to this hoax message is a joke program, which vertically flips the image on your computer screen when executed.

The hoax message is similar to the following:

Guys if u get this mail and your eyes are all funny Thats cause u are infected with the Year 2000 Virus!!!! BE AFRAID!!! BE VERY AFRAID!!!"

The attached file is named Jan1st20.exe and it is 4,128 bytes in length. The file's PKZIP CRC-32 value is 0x6bc4c900. Please ignore any messages regarding this hoax and do not pass on messages. Passing on messages about the hoax only serves to further propagate it.
