Fanta.Trojan is a Trojan horse that steals the user name, passwords, and OICQ number; it sends the stolen information to the hacker's email address.

There are several versions of the threat. All of them are written in the Microsoft C++ programming language. Some version may be compressed with UPX.

  • Fanta.Trojan.Dr is a hacktool that can be used to generate Fanta.Trojan.
  • Definitions dated prior to November 6, 2002, may detect this threat as W32.Fanta.worm and may detect Fanta.Trojan.Dr as W32.Fanta.B.Worm.
