Adware.Broadcastpc is a program that downloads movie and advertisement clips onto the computer at predetermined intervals. This adware can track Internet browsing habits so that it can target a particular audience.

The clips and advertisements can be displayed whether the computer is online or offline. The advertisements are downloaded prior to the scheduled playback time.

Note: Virus definitions dated September 30th, 2004 or earlier may detect this threat as Adware.BroadcastPC.B
