Adware.OrbitExplorer is an adware program that installs an Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object (BHO), a toolbar, and Favorites components. Adware.OrbitExplorer also installs other adware programs and modifies Internet Explorer settings to redirect searches.


Your Symantec program detects files as Adware.OrbitExplorer. Internet Explorer's home page is changed to www.orbitexplorer.com. Searches using Internet Explorer go through www.orbitexplorer.com. Internet Explorer Favorites that go to www.orbitexplorer.com are present. A search toolbar is present in Internet Explorer.
