Android.Nuhaz is a Trojan horse for Android devices that may intercept text messages on the compromised device.

The Trojan may arrive as a package with the following characteristics:

Package name: com.cr.shortcut
Name: My HRMIS & JPA


Permissions
When the Trojan is being installed, it requests permissions to perform the following actions:
  • Send SMS messages
  • Read user's contacts data
  • Read SMS messages on the device

Installation
Once installed, the application will display an icon of the Android logo with the letters "JPA" across the body.
