Open Case at Symantec

   Hi,

   Does anyone know how to open a case at Symantec by Internet ?

   I use to open cases by phone, but the time to wait on the phone to talk to a professional takes almost an hour everytime.

To be able to open a case online, I think you need a username and password to log in first.

Opening a support case online

Hi Carlos,

You can open a case using the MySupport application at https://mysupport.symantec.com/  If you have not previously been set up with a MySupport account you can create your own account or call customer care to get them to do this for you. In order to open a Technical Support case you will need the SUPPORT IDENTIFIER in the electronic certificate which your company should have received when the order was completed.

   Thanks, i used to call Symantec Brazil to open cases, but everytime i have to wait at least 40 minutes listening to good music on hold, to talk to an especialist. That's why i asked for another way to open cases.
